Video: Adam Ondra unleashed at Laggio Laboratorio

Watch Adam Ondra climbing at Laboratorio above Laggio, Italy, where the Czech superstar made the first ascent of 'Big Twin' (9a+) before attempting an even harder project.

Nestled at the foot of Monte Tudaio lies one of the hardest crags in the Dolomites, the Laboratorio di Laggio. Developed mainly by Icio Dall'Omo and later by Christian Casanova and Luca Zardini, this crag remained out of the spotlight for many years, despite its undeniable beauty. A few weeks ago, Adam Ondra – spurred on by his friend Andrea Polo – finally decided to pay it a visit. The result? After three days of work, the firs ascent of the 9a+ Big Twin and, of course, much more besides. Here's how it went.
