This video is about trying hard, no matter what. About giving it your all, even if you fail. It's about the pains and also the rewards that climbing can give, regardless of the grade. It's about the simple joys of getting out there and trying something completely new. In this case - as Alice Hafer and Zofia Reych demonstrate - climbing an intricate and painful classic gritstone crack called Zippatrocity at the Cowperstone close to Stanage in England’s Peak district.

Film by Alice Hafer, entered for the BMC Women In Adventure film competition 2017. Closing date for the People's Choice category is 28/02/2017.
