Stella Marchisio: Conception

Stella Marchisio is certainly one of the strongest female climbers in Italy, and also further afield. After becoming Italian Speed Champion in 1995 and Lead Champion in 1997 she decided to concentrate more on short and intense moves, winning the Italian Bouldering Cup in 2002 and 2005 to then win the hat-trick, namely Italian Bouldering Championship in 2007. Outdoors Stella comes into her own with problems up to 8A+ until she was forced to rest for 9 months. Injury? No, Stella was about to give birth to twins! And now that they’re born Stella is back on form, as this video shows, filmed by the father of the two baby girls and one of the world’s best boulderers, Christian Core.
