Silvio Reffo climbing Tentacoli 8c, Covolo
After the first repeat of Il Frutto del Diavolo 8c+/9a at the crag Bus de Vela, Silvio Reffo has now made the second repeat of Tentacoli at his home stomping ground, Covolo in the foothills above Vicenza. Last summer the Italian freed the crag's hardest, L'attimo 9a and he has now "hit" the cliff with a fast second repeat of Tentacoli, the bouldery test freed by Dino Lagni (but conceived and repeated by Davide Zavagnin) which shares the same start L’attimo. But there is more along the lines of "local Covolo news", for Reffo repeated Tentacoli after investing time in bolting a new route started by crag local Marco Savio. This seems promising, seeing that Reffo describes it as "a really hard line up natural holds." In all probability this project will have to wait for the next seasons, in the meantime we've published the entire clip of Reffo repeating Bella Regis 8c/c+ at Bus de Vela.
