Pamela Shanti Pack - Off-width Outlaw
The short film Off-width Outlaw by Celin Serbo documenting America's Pamela Shanti Pack, one of the world's premier offwidth climber, at Indian Creek.
Pamela Shanti Pack
"You move maybe an inch, then hyperventilate for 30 seconds. And then maybe move another inch." These are the words used by American climber Pamela Shanti Pack to describe her greatest love, climbing offwidths, those enormously wide cracks that require the entire body and all the tricks of the trade. It's a very physical style of climbing, brutal yet at the same time a true art that appeals to few, so much so that for many years Shanti Pack climbed at Indian Creek, Vedauwoo and Zion like a true offwidth outlaw.
