Nathaniel Coleman frees 'No One Mourns the Wicked' (9A) at Thunder Ridge
American climber Nathaniel Coleman has made the first ascent of the boulder problem 'No One Mourns the Wicked' at Thunder Ridge, Colorado, USA.
Last year Nathaniel Coleman made the first ascent of No One Mourns the Wicked at Thunder Ridge, Colorado, USA. Graded 9A, this adds the low start to the 8C Defying Gravity, put up by Daniel Woods in 2013; an extra six more moves lead directly into the crux of Defying Gravity, an 8B move in its own right which Coleman had needed 8 days to master. Here is the story behind the first ascent, documented beautifully by Ben Neilson.
