What does it take to send an 8C bouder problem? Talent. Training. Dedication. A dream to follow, without compromises. And perhaps also some sleepless nights. Spanish climber Nacho Sánchez knows a thing or two about this, but the other day he finally managed to free Insomnio at the Cova de la Gota at Crevillente; the intense conglomerate wave finally gave way after a year and a half of effort. Insomnio is the second 8C created by the 27-year-old after Entropía which, for the record, was freed in March 2011 at Castillo de Bayuela and was the first 8C boulder problem in Spain.
