During a brief 6-day trip to Mallorca in Spain, one of the world's most beautiful and spectacular spots for deep water soloing, Christian Core captured 19-year-old Darius Rapa on Chris Sharma's famous Es Pontas (9a+).
For the 2003 Bouldering World Champion, winner of the 2002 World Cup, and the first-ever Boulder World Cup back in 1999, this represents the "most beautiful photo I have ever taken." Here's how it came to be.
