Melissa Le Nevé celebrated her 25th birthday in style yesterday by redpointing Baa Baa Black Sheep a  Céüse in France. The route in question is a 8c/+ located on the extreme righthand side of the Biographie sector, marked by a difficult crux at half-height and freed by America's Dave Graham in 2001.

Le Nevé's success came about after the first female ascent of the world's first 8c, Wallstreet in Germany's Frankenjura in mid-May, and is currently one of the hardest female redpoints at Ceuse: in 2010 Alizée Dufraisse manged to repeat Arcadémicien des Crépis 8c.
