It's no secret that the Ice Climbing World Champion 2007 and 2009 is also extremely talented on the rock. Indeed, the "ice prince" as he is often called has sent numerous sport climbs up to 9a and now, after having freed Das Erbe der Väter 8c+, Heinzelmann 8c+, Gwagus Maximus 9a and Mongo 9a at Schleierwasserfall, the 29-year-old Austrian has added yet another route to this fantastic Tyrolean crag. It's called Seitensprung, was an old Alexander Huber project and was freed by Markus Bendler after 3 days of effort. The grade? Officially there is none as yet. But it's certainly harder than 8b. And easier than 9a.
