At the start of the year we told you about 15-year-old Luca Marzari who send his first 8a's El Somaro and Passo Falso at one of Italy's most important crags, Lumignano Classica. Benath the summer sun the reddish-grey limestone rock face is boiling hot so Luca shifted his attention to the nearby overhangs where he quickly sent La Grotta 8a, Bravò 8a+ and, the next day, Il falco 8b. like all strong climbers in the Vicenza area he then spent time at one of the hardest crags in the area, Covolo, where he made short work of his second 8b, La Notte.
