Where the land ends and the sea begins. This is Cabo de Roca, the westernmost cape of the Europe featured in this video with Leopoldo Faria who defines it as "one of the most beautiful sea cliffs in Portugal." Despite being located close to Lisbon, Faria states that "most of the time you are totally alone." The granite cliff hosts circa 20 routes that vary in difficulty from 6a to 8a+, with a considerable number of lines requiring aid and thus awaiting first free ascents. "It's one of my favourite places" he concludes. And it's easy to understand why. For further information about the area check out equipadores.blogspot.pt
