Chamonix - Jain Kim
The third stage of the Lead World Cup begins in France's Briançon today, and we're just in time to report about last week's second stage that took place in Chamonix and was won by Japan's Sachi Amma and South Korea's Jain Kim. Despite the pouring rain the competition was carried out regularly and Amma proved why he won the World Cup 2013 by climbing 4 holds higher that second-placed Jakob Schubert who celebrated his return to form after a finger injury earlier this year. Third place went to Slovenia's Domen Skofic, his best result to date in Lead competitions.
In the women's event, Kim beat Austria's Magdalena Röck and Slovenia's Mina Markovic, 2nd and 3rd respectively. The Speed event was won by Danylo Boldryev and Alina Gaidamankina.
