After her hard winter ascents (read the first female ascent of Mission Impossible) the Ice World Cup winner enters the realm of female 8a+ ascents, with her redpoint of Basic Instinct at the Schattenwand, Berchtesgaden, Germany. The German, winner in 2003 of the Ice World Cup and the Ice World Championships, needed just three days to first climb Basic Instinct 8a, and then the seldom repeated Basic Instinct extended, 8a+.
