The incredible Grand Arch in Gétû Valley, China
Maurizio Oviglia
After the appeal launched a few days ago to stop the building developments within the Getu National Park in China which would completely destroy the unique beauty of this famous limestone arch and the peaceful village located in the Chinese countryside, an online petition has now been started against this development that will subsequently be delivered to the UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The entire climbing community is being asked to sign this petition and it's clear that the more people sign it, the greater the chances are that the buidling development will be halted. 1000 signers seem far too little, let's try and reach 10,000 or, why not, perhaps even 50,000!
