Dean Potter highlining above Yosemite Falls

There few climbers who have push the extreme - in all spheres of our vertical world - as much as American Dean Potter. From fast alpine climbs (read the first solo of Supercanaleta on Cerro Fitz Roy in Patagonia) to audacious rock solos (read the third ropeless ascent of Separate Reality after Wolfgang Güllich and Heinz Zak and the FreeBASE ascent of Deep Blue Sea (7b+) up the Eiger in Switzerland) via wingsuit jumps and slacklining, Potter's quest for the possible within the impossible is deep and very personal.

Unsurprisingly National Geographic voted him Adventurer of the year in 2009 and Potter's latest, captured for the prestigious magazine, is a high line crossing of Yosemite Falls, 1000m above the Californian valley. According to Potter, it is is one of his hardest ever.
