The Italian climbers Cristian Brenna and Riccardo Scarian have made the most of the cold, clear weather to free some old projects dotted around northern Italy.
The Italian climbers Cristian Brenna and Riccardo Scarian have made the most of the cold, clear weather to free some old projects dotted around northern Italy. At the start of January Brenna sent an old boulder project at Sasso Remenno in Val Masino, grading it Fb8a but "as usual, the grade needs to be confirmed".

Scarian on the otherhand travelled east to free "No Man's Land F8c" at San Silvestro, Valle di Primiero, before meeting up with Christian Core to repeat Assassini nati" Fb8a and flashing "Toccami e cado" FB7c at Varazze.
