Located in Western Victoria in Southern Australia, with an amazing mix of stunning sports climbs and countless trad routes the Grampians are one of the continent's best climbing areas. Of late the area's bouldering has potential has been unlocked thanks to strong visiting climbers and, above all, locals such as Mike and Dave Kellermann, Mikey Forward and Sophie Vivian who have developed extensive new bouldering in this National Park. Between 2009 and 2012 they put up over 140 news problems ranging from V0 to V12, and there are still "many spectacular V14 projects for the future." Before watching the video though a word of caution: following the devastating bushfires in February 2012 many of the areas have been closed. But as the climbers state "The Grampians is a huge place and there is always somewhere else to visit within the Park!"
