Ashima Shiraishi one of 30 Most Influential Teens of 2015 according to Time

Every year Time magazine compiles a list of who it believes are the most influential teenagers, taking into account a series of factors such as accolades across numerous fields, global impact through social media and overall ability to drive news.

This year's cut is comprised of 30 youngsters and, as a sign of how much climbing is growing in popularity, includes young Ashima Shiraishi whose ground-breaking ascent of Open Your Mind Direct in Spain didn't go unnoticed. Unsurprisingly, the Youth B Lead and Boulder World Champion immediately shared the news to her over 70,000 followers on Instagram and Facebook.
