In 2015 Alex Puccio was having the climbing season her life and getting ready to compete at the Vail Bouldering World Cup. While warming up though she fell awkwardly, tearing her Anterior Cruciate Ligament, Medial Collateral Ligament, and meniscus. All of a sudden her season ended; she underwent surgery to repair the torn ligaments and began a tough regime of physical therapy and training. Watch the physical and mental struggles of this elite athlete suddenly relegated to walking on crutches and her return to world-class rock climbing.
