Super Stefano Ghisolfi and Janja Garnbret won Melloblocco event!
16-year-old Janja Garnbret from Slovenia won the Melloblocco 2015. Stefano Ghisolfi reached 9 tops, proving himself to be the best for the third year in a row.
Melloblocco has a new queen and her name is Janja Garnbret! Unbeatable in youth competitions, the 16 years old Slovenian CAMP athlete was at her first Melloblocco participation but she was able to send 7 out of 10 problems, getting immediately the first place at the most important boulder meeting in the world. Concerning men, Stefano Ghisolfi reached 9 tops, proving himself to be the best for the third year in a row. Note that during the meeting Stefano told us to feel in great condition, that means that great achievements are coming!
But this is not all: at Melloblocco 2015, that despite the changeable weather got super success with thousands of climbers from all over the world, also Andrea Ratti and Simone Tentori had very good results (3 tops) together with Giada Zampa (4 tops). Veteran Mauro Calibani and young Claudia Ghisolfi, Maria Ballerini and Martina Frigerio managed to climb a boulder too.
Hundreds of enthusiasts participated to our game “Guess how many”: a real challenge that needed to guess how many meters of rope were contained in the plexiglass tube. The length was 201.20 meters and – crazy but true! – Moretti Alfonso said the exact measure winning the first prize: a wonderful, water repellent and breathable Protection Jacket. Also Stefano Bertoro and Martina Pinza were very precise: they both evaluated 201.50 meters and won a Rox Climb pack and an Energy harness.
