Laura Rogora in the team of CAMP athletes

The CAMP athletes team grows with a new champion: the 15 years old sport climber Laura Rogora, who on 28th February 2016 climbed Grandi gesti in Sperlonga and became the first Italian woman to get a 9a route. Able to climb 8b on-sight, Laura is very talented both on rock and in competitions. She started climbing when she was 4 together with her father and mother and in the last months, in addition to Grandi gesti, she got legendary Wallstreet (8c) in Frankenjura and the 2nd ascent, in only 5 tries, of Traverso dei sogni (8c) in Collepardo. In competition area, we highlight gold and silver medals respectively in the Lead and Boulder at 2016 European Youth Championships, the bronze medal in the Lead at 2015 World Youth Championships and several successes (Lead and Boulder) in the European Youth Cup. More, Laura was nominated for 2016 Arco Rock Legends, one of the most important sport climbing prizes. We are proud and happy that Laura has chosen C.A.M.P. and its products for her climbs, like many other top climbers. She realizes her amazing climbing dreams with passion and determination and we are sure that thanks to our Matik belay-descender device, Photon quickdraws, Flash harness and Roxback backpack she will continue to get many great successes!
