Tomorrow, the La Sportiva Climb World Tour kicks off at the historic BSide Climbing Gym in Turin. Now in its fourth edition, the event was conceived to celebrate indoor sport climbing and to connect the Italian company with climbing communities around the world. After the debut on the 8th and 9th of April in the Piedmontese capital, the tour will make stops in Paris, Brussels, Stockholm, Munich, and Vienna.

The new edition introduces an on-the-road format: a true van tour that links the various stops, creating a common thread between communities, athletes, and territories. Indeed, between one city and the next, the tour will visit Arco, Céüse in France, Freyr in Belgium, Bohuslän in Sweden, Zillertal in Austria, and Frankenjura in Germany. A journey through the history of climbing, through the places where the sport was born, with stories told by those who helped shape its history.

The tour is led by some of La Sportiva's top athletes – Caroline Ciavaldini, James Pearson, Siebe Vanhee, Klaas Willems, and Lara Neumeier – who become the narrating voices along the different stops.

During the Climb World Tour, participants will be able to attend talks with the athletes – in Turin for example, Elias Iagnemma will provide insight into Exodia, the world's first proposed 9A+ boulder problem – and of course, there will also be the chance to try out the La Sportiva climbing shoes thanks to the "Test & Feel" program. The absolute protagonist is the Skwama Lite, the new climbing shoe that strikes the right balance between comfort and performance, even during long training sessions. Additionally, there will be the feared Footholds Challenge, where only feet, balance, and concentration matter, as well as Climbing Lessons with practical tips by some of the very best.
