Italian Bouldering Championship 2001

The Italian Bouldering Championship 2001 took place in Campitello di Fassa last weekend, and was won by Riccardo Scarian and Giulia Giammarco.

The Italian Bouldering Championship took place in Campitello di Fassa last weekend, and was won by Riccardo Scarian and Giulia Giammarco. Scarian dominated the event by topping out on all 6 problems in the Final, beating Flavio Crespi and ex-champion Christian Core into second and third place, while second and third place in the Women’s event went to Lisa Benetti and Stella Marchisio respectively.

Giulia Giammarco is fresh from her victory in Parma last weekend, where she clinched the Italian Cup, together with Christian Core. Once again. No doubt we’ll be hearing more from them in the future.
