"Some places" explains Melissa "are nice to visit and some places just make you feel like the luckiest person in the world. This is what we felt during our trip to Rocklands." Here's the video of Haroun Souirji, another Rocklands special which adds to all those (beautiful and intense) one we published in the video reportage by Clement Pedrotti this summer about this South African bouldering paradise. The video is worth watching not only because the climber is Melissa Le Neve, certainly one of the world's strongest climbers both in competitions and outdoors, but also because these 24 minutes transmit the magic of Rocklands, of bouldering and its people. Like the magic of surrounding "vivid landscape" without which our climbing would lose a great deal, if not all, of its appeal and fascination. Enjoy the film, also for Jacopo Larcher as the indispensable "spotter" and travel companion.
