At the start of December Giovanni Ongaro, Fabio Palma, Simone Pedeferri and Marco Vago travelled to Kalymnos, Greece, where they made the first ascent of two new multi-pitch routes.
| At the start of December Giovanni Ongaro, Fabio Palma, Simone Pedeferri and Marco Vago travelled to Kalymnos, Greece, where they made the first ascent of two new multi-pitch routes. The first, "L'uomo senza qualità " weighs in at 8a (obbl. 7a) just like the second, "Cardiopalma" (obbl. 7a). Both routes are located just 15 minutes from the crag Odissey Kalymnos L'UOMO SENZA QUALITA' F.A. Simone Pedeferri, Marco Vago, ground up 12/2004. Length: 120m Grade: 6a+, 7a/b, 7c+/8a, 8a, 5 (7a obbl.) Gear: 60m rope only if you descend on foot afterwards. Possible abseil descent down CardioPalma Access: 15 min from Odissea NB the first pitch is shared with 'Marina'. The route is dedicated to Marisa Lomolino and Mauro 'Maurone' Montorfano.
