| Despite near-Arctic conditions Cristian Brenna has made the long-awaited second ascent of Les Syndacalistes, first climbed by Beppe Dallona in 1995 and originally graded 8c+/9a. Brenna needed about 20 attempts, (11 this year) to send the 30m route, which he believes is more in the region of 8c+.
