That Chris Sharma is on form is no secret: just two months ago he made the first ascent of his hardest climb to date, the 9b/+ El bon combat at Cova de Ocell. The American climber is currently enjoying his "post project" period at Sant Llorenç de Munt in Catalonia where he managed to onsight Snuff Movies, a great 8c in the Siberia sector.
Writing on Facebook, Sharma stated "Without any expectations it was just so good to flow on the rock and absorb myself in the moves. It was a nice surprise to have it all come together and kind of gets me psyched to try some more onsights!"
Snuff Movies isn’t Sharma’s first 8c onsight but as we wrote just a few days ago when Iker Pou sent his first 8c onsight on the island of Mallorca, managing to onsight a route of this difficulty is and remans a world-class performance.
