Route

Pleasant climbing up the open granite Locherie face. The route ascends a series up slabs up the south face to reach an arched crack. Where the face straightens out climb the beautiful arete past a series of crimps to reach the top.

Getting there

From Onifai head towards Capo Comino to reach the obvious peak close to Locherie.

Access

From the car, parked below the face, reach the base of the route in just 5 minutes.

Descent

Abseil down the route, three abseils recommended

Gear

Two 50 ropes, slings for the belays, 12 quickdraws.

Notes

The route is dedicated to Malala Yousafza who received the 2014 Nobel peace prize.
