Route

The first pitch starts 10m to the left of the route "Pustertaler - Halbgefrohrenes". The pegs are clearly visible on this first section, and the first belay is shared with "Pustertaler - Halbgefrohrenes". The second pitch climbs left above the belay, from then on it's impossible to climb off route!

Getting there

From Brunico drive towards Valle Aurina to Campo Tures, turn off right at the first fork following signs for Riva di Tures, park the car on the left circa 2.5km before reaching this village. Path No. 3 to rifugio “Vedrette di Ries” departs from here.

Access

From the car park cross the river and the Langlauf track, continue south for 300m and then ascend the sleep slope up to the face with the routes, visible from below. Beware of avalanches. From February onwards the face receives a fair bit of sun.

Descent

Abseil down the route or ascend for another 100m and walk around the face SE.

Gear

Set of Camelots 0.5 – 2, ice screws, two 55m half ropes, slings, 10 quickdraws.
