Route

The route climbs the peak (marked 3022mon the Frébouge glacier in Val Ferret. Superb rock, fully equipped with 10mm stainless steel bolts, plus twin bolts connected with slings and maillon rapide for the abseils.

Getting there

Reach Courmayeur, then continue into Val Ferret.

Access

From Lavachey follow signs for the Gervassutti bivouac. 200m before head left and ascend the glacier, traverse where it seems best (take care) and head to the base of the face. 2/2.5 hours from the car.
