The first stage of the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup 2017 took place at Font Blanca in Andorra last weekend. Saturday’s Individual race was won by France’s Laetitia Roux and Germany’s Anton Palzer, while Sunday’s Vertical race was won by Sweden’s Emelie Forsberg and Switzerland’s Marti Werner.

Kilian Jornet and Laetitia Roux earned precious points on Friday 19 Febraury 2016 at the fourth 2016 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup event, the 33rd Transcavallo, by winning the Individual race that took place at Alpago, more specifically at Col Indes, a few kilometres above Tambre.

The European Ski Mountaineering Championships are currently taking place at Les Marécottes in Switzerland. The Individual race was won on 05/02/2016 by Italy's Michele Boscacci and France's Laetitia Roux.
