Dave Graham making the fourth ascent of Realization 9a+, Ceuse
Dave Graham has just made the fourth ascent of Realization, the benchmark 9a+ at Ceuse, France. Graham had been spending some time in Ceuse attempting the 60 move stamina fest in the company of first ascentionist Chris Sharma, who recently freed Three Degrees of Separation on the very same wall.
Originally equipped by Jean Cristophe Lafaille, the "Biographie extension" was finally freed by Chris Sharma in July 2001, after Arnaud Petit had redpointed the first half, Biographie, in 1996.
Realization was first repeated by local Sylvain Millet in May 2004 and then by Spaniard Patxi Usobiaga in August that same year.
