Daniel Woods repeats Witness the Fitness 8C
Daniel Woods has repeated the famous boulder problem Witness the Fitness 8C at Ozark Mountains, USA.
Daniel Woods at Melloblocco 2006
Rumours had it that it had become impossible. Witness the Fitness, that incredible roof in the Ozark Mountains, those completely horizontal 10 metres climbed for the first time in 2005 by Chris Sharma and repeated in 2006, not without difficulty, by Fred Nicole who broke a few holds during his attempts. No other ascents since then, just rumours of invincibility. But a few days ago three of America's strongest checked out the extent of the damage: Daniel Woods, Jimmy Webb, and Paul Robinson. All three made surprisingly good progress, the first to come up trumps yesterday was Woods. While waiting for the new sequence of this "solid" 8C, here's the original footage of Sharma.
