Stefano Ghisolfi climbs Excalibur (9b+) at Arco, Italy
A perfect line, with tiny holds on a 40 degrees steep wall: this is Excalibur." This heinous 9b+ at Drena close to Arco, Italy, was freed by Stefano Ghisolfi on 3 February 2023. Attempted unsuccessfully by the likes of Will Bosi and Adam Ondra, this is the hardest sport climb in the country and one of the most difficult in the world.
