Route

The new 120-meter mixed climb is located above the well-known icefall Lukežev Led and features three pitches: the first WI5, the second M7/WI5+, and the third WI3. The route has been equipped with bolted belays, and the mixed section is bolted, too.

Getting there

From the Mangart guesthouse in Bretto, turn right, cross the bridge, and go up through the meadow to the forest; follow the hunting path, continuing the route among the trees and rocky slopes, which are sometimes icy, to the left of the Lukežev Led waterfall. Once you reach the top, descend into a gully where the ice falls spring into view on your right. Estimated time: 1h/1h30'.
