Climbing Technology Morfo BG - screwgate carabiner

The MORFO BG is CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY’s ergonomic light alloy carabiner with a dynamic and modern design with the BriLock Gate (BG) closure system. Lightweight and hot forged, it is ideal for constructing belays, for connecting yourself to an anchor and for critical connections.
The MORFO BG is equipped with the BriLock Gate (BG) closing system which combines the simplicity of a screwgate with the additional security of automatic locking. The BriLock Gate works in two positions: in the Neutral mode the connector is closed and the screwgate is free to rotate on itself without the lever opening and thus avoiding the risk of accidental opening due to vibrations, rubbing, impacts etc. In the Open mode the screwgate remains open to facilitate the performance of manoeuvres.
The D shape of the MORFO BG guarantees an optimal distribution of loads; the snag free shape of the nose is designed to have maximum freedom of insertion into any type of anchor while the ergonomic shape allows for optimal grip during use. The reinforced contact areas guarantee maximum life of the carabiner even in case of intense use. The ribbed profile of the MORFO BG allows for an excellent strength/weight ratio and the external and internal profiles are smooth to avoid snagging.
