HDry and the Legends of Ice Climbing at the Scarpa Ice Days 2026
The Scarpa Ice Days have just concluded, marking another intense and memorable edition of the event, which once again brought together world-class athletes, professionals, and enthusiasts, all united by their passion for the mountains and ice climbing.
HDry participated in the event as a partner alongside SCARPA, reaffirming a long-standing collaboration that grows stronger each year, built on shared values such as innovation, performance, and reliability in the most demanding conditions.
One of the highlights of this edition was the presence of top-level athletes, many of whom are part of the HDry team. Participants had the unique opportunity to climb and share the field with some of the biggest names in international alpinism and ice climbing, enjoying an authentic and highly inspiring experience.
Among the athletes present were Will Gadd, a true legend of ice climbing, a reference not only for his most iconic ascents worldwide but also for his ability to inspire and pass on his passion to new generations; Dani Arnold, holder of world speed records on some of the most famous Alpine walls; Matteo Della Bordella, a leading figure in contemporary alpinism and remote wall expeditions; and many other iconic ice climbers, including Mathis Dumas, Daniel Ladurner, Hervé Barmasse, Benjamin Lieber, Maynadier Mathieu, Alessandro Bau, Matthias Scherer.
The Scarpa Ice Days were packed with on-field activities, gear testing, technical discussions, and moments of sharing. For HDry, being part of the event means continuing to support athletes, partners, and projects that push materials and technologies to their limits, contributing to the development of solutions designed for peak performance in extreme environments.
A big thank you to Scarpa for making all of this possible.

HDry was born in 2018 from the founders of OutDry, taking up the same innovative philosophy and continuing its technological development.
The HDry construction, thanks to the patented direct 3D lamination process, moves the waterproof barrier to the outermost layer to prevent any water ingress and penetration.
No water penetration also means greater lightness and more breathability, important advantages in intensive outdoor or mountaineering use.
