Ferrino is proud to announce that two productions supported by the company – Transcardus – A BalkanSki Story and Odyssea Borealis (a Vibram production in collaboration with Ferrino) – have been officially selected for the 73rd edition of the Trento Film Festival, taking place from April 25 to May 4, 2025.
The Trento Film Festival is one of the most prestigious international events dedicated to mountain cinema, exploration, and adventure, featuring a rich program of films, talks, exhibitions, and an international showcase of mountain literature.
TRANSCARDUS – A BALKANSKI STORY
Transcardus follows the first ski mountaineering traverse of the Scardus Massif, located on the border between Kosovo and North Macedonia. The film documents the adventure of Enrico Mosetti – mountain guide, Ferrino ambassador, and passionate ski mountaineer – alongside Elisa Bessega (skier, photographer, and director of the film), Matteo Sarto, and Lorenzo Barutta. Escaping the overcrowded Alps, the team embarks on a week of demanding ascents, thrilling descents, and snow-covered bivouacs, exploring a region where Europe meets the East. Ferrino fully supported the film's production and the expedition itself, providing cutting-edge technical equipment, including the ultralight Instinct backpack line and the Extreme 2 high-altitude tent.
ODYSSEA BOREALIS – The Unknown Still Exists
Odyssea Borealis (a Vibram production in collaboration with Ferrino) follows four explorers on a 300 km sea kayaking journey through the icy waters of Eastern Greenland, in search of the true essence of exploration. Among them is Matteo Della Bordella, renowned international climber and athlete for both Ferrino and Vibram. The film captures their climb of the untouched face of Drøneren, overcoming natural obstacles with the aim of rediscovering the primal bond between humans and nature — an invitation to explore not to conquer, but to embrace the pure essence of adventure.
