Non spezzarmi il cuore - Porto Flavia - Masua
Non spezzarmi il cuore climbs the beautiful Sol Levante wall on the Scogliera di Masua sea cliff. It offers beautiful, varied climbing that is always enjoyable and fairly continuous on vertical walls. Opened by Maurizio Oviglia and Antonello Pala in 1994, it was completely rebolted in 316 stainless steel at the end of 2022 by Oviglia and Cecilia Marchi. The gear was purchased thanks to donations made on the website pietradiluna.com.
The Scogliera di Masua sea cliff is located in the Sulcis Iglesiente region, in southwestern Sardinia. From Cagliari, take the SS130 toward Iglesias and continue toward Gonnesa and Carbonia. At Stazione Monteponi, turn right and take the SP83 toward Nebida and Buggerru. Continue along the panoramic road, pass Nebida, then descend toward Masua beach. Reach the large parking lot of Portu Cauli beach, then turn right following signs for "Miniera Mausa Porta Flavia" and follow the dirt road to the mining park parking lot.

From the parking lot of the Port Flavia mining park, proceed on foot. Enter the park and, before the mine entrance, go up a small path on the right towards the second net/fence. Follow it to the far left and continue along a distinct trail on the edge of the landslide area overlooking the sea. Once almost beneath the rocks of the Pilastro dell'Italia Liberata, follow along its base downhill (caution: not suitable for children!), then cross the gully and reach the base of Sol Levante.
