Close to Heaven - Demirkazik
Close to Heaven climbs the fantastic shield in the center of the north face of Demirkazik. The final part is a bit more alpine, easier but on more delicate rock. It was established ground-up in summer 2025 by Alessandro Larcher, Rolando Larcher and Federica Mingolla. The first free ascent, completed in 12 hours, took place on 11 August 2025.

To avoid dangerous rockfalls, only climb the wall in stable weather conditions and late in the season, when there is no snow. After rain, wait two days before climbing!
