Giulio Malfer After a marathon 7 hour qualification round Kilian Fischhuber clearlydominated the 58 man field. The current World Cup leader topped out on all 6 problems (needing 8 attempts) displaying complete control and precision throughout. As was to be expected, his closest rival Jerome Meyer finished hot on his heel with 6 tops in 10 attempts, while somewhat unexpectedly an extraordinary Stephane Julien finished provisional third. Former world champion Mauro Calibani celebrated his return to the competition arena with an impressive provisional fourth , ahead of Rovereto local Stefano Ghidini and Gerome Pouvreau. The enitre list of athletes who qualified is published below. The Semifinal's get underway tomorrow at 14.00pm, while the Finals get underway at 21.00. Stay tuned.
