Route
An elegant and classic route of its grade. The lower section takes a rather uninteresting line up steps to the left of the corner, to the ledge at half height. From here traverse right and climb up the superb, large corner! The rock accepts all types of gear and is extremely solid, especially in the upper section.
Access
Approach the Cima del Lago by walking from the Capanna Alpina up the no. 20 to the rifugio Scotoni and the small lake. Walk around this and up the scree to the wall. Start about 40 meters to the left of the large corner by traversing diagonally from right to left, onto a small ledge to the left of a gully. Allow at least an hour for the walk-in. Descent
Descent: walk northwards (cairn) for about 50 meters, then rightwards down a chimney and narrow gully (2+ scramble) to a terrace. From here descend to the forcella del Lago and follow the path down the steep south gully to the lake. Gear
Gear: a set of wires, friends and kevlar threads.

Via decisamente affascinante. Non difficile, ma da non prendere sotto gamba. Facile incorrere in difficoltà maggiori se si sbaglia sopra la cengia. Ambiente assai suggestivo. Testimonia le capacità esplorative del grande e compianto Paolo Consiglio, e dei suoi compagni.

Un gioellino con difficoltà contenute ma mai banali, nel diedro in alto. Uno zoccolo ragionevole (anche per la roccia, una volta tanto) nella parte bassa. Ambiente maestoso ma rilassante. Che si vuole di più?

La prima parte,meno interessante, si sale per via non obbligata, con buone possibilità di protezione. ATTENZIONE:Roccia sporca di detriti. La seconda parte segue il diedro e si svolge su roccia quasi sempre ottima, ottime anche le possibilità di proteggere. Le soste sono tutte ben visibili e i gradi sono come da relazione(ONESTISSIMI). Il camino lungo la discesa è consigliabile discenderlo in doppia, ancoraggio su clessidra.

Bello il tratto del diedro su roccia ottima; sotto il terreno è un po' peggio ma si sale molto rapidamente fino alla cengia. Non fare come noi che sulla cengia a metà abbiamo salito una brutta fessura friabile (con chiodo vecchio a 10 m.) a metà strada fra l'inizio della cengia e il diedro (scambiandola per quella giusta, visto che anche questa inizia ad una nicchia... che geni!!!), su difficoltà decisamente superiori e terreno infido; per tornare nel diedro bisogna poi traversare circa 50 m. a destra. Rispetto ai commenti precedenti c'è da dire che per scendere non è necessaria una doppia da 30 m. questa si può comodamente spezzare in due su clessidre con molti cordini già in posto.
