Frankenjura The Elder Statesman repeated twice

01.11.2012 by Planetmountain

Manuel Brunn and Daniel Jung have both repeated The Elder Statesman 9a in the Frankenjura, Germany.

One of Germany's hardest sport climbs, The Elder Statesman in the Frankenjura, was repeated for the first time this month by Manuel Brunn and then, just a few days ago, by Daniel Jung. Freed by Markus Bock in 2011 with 30 intense crimp moves, in this video featuring Brunn you can get a good idea of how hard it really is to send 9a!
