Climbers are taking grassroot action at Bishop to ensure that one of the world's premier bouldering areas remains pristine as when it was formed thousands of years ago, and that relations with the loca land agencies remain top-notch.

This year the "Adopt a Crag" clean-up day will be on 7 November: starting at the Buttermilks Peabodys at 9.00am and all climber volunteers are welcome. After the clean up there will be an American Alpine Club Highball to help raise funds for a much-needed pit toilet at the Buttermilks, while on Sunday morning climbers will be given a unique opportunity to meet land agencies and local climbers.

The weather forecast is good, coffee and snacks are provided. If you're in the area, you know what to do!
