Rock Junior, hundreds of children and their parents at Arco for the climbing game.

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June Flavio Crespi, one of the strongest athletes in the climbing world ranking, will be the special guest of this year's sixth edition of the Rock Junior. This great European Youth Climbing Festival is open to all children aged 5 -13 and their families and takes place yearly at Arco, Lake Garda, Trentino, Italy.
Ten days and counting for the Rock Junior European Youth Climbing Festival which will take place in Arco (Lake Garda, Italy) on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June. All is set to welcome the hundreds of youngsters and their families for the sixth great climbing festival.

At the Climbing Stadium they will be greeted by Flavio Crespi, the Italian Police athlete and sports climbing champion who in two years ago won the most important trophy, the World Cup 2005.

This exceptional testimonial is one of Italy's finest, and he will participate togeterh with the young climbers and their parents in this great vertical game. Flavio Crespi, climbng with future champions, will be joined by the Mountain Rescue services who have always guaranteed complete safety during the Rock Junior vertical games.

The climbing weekend is made to measure for the children and their families. And just like in the best of games, all can participate, beginners and experts alike, children and their parents. The Rock Junior speaks at least 10 different languages (this year for the first time ever a child has registered from India) and it represents all that combines climbing and fun. And it also represents an ideal link between climbing and the fantastic nature and rocks in Arco which are the cradle of modern sports climbing in Italy.

Rock Junior is a party and also a great theme park to get to know the climbing game. Children will take part in Play & Climb and play on the bouncy castles, suspension bridges and climbing tests which reproduce tree climbing. In the Climbing Campus they will explore Arco's nature and rocks together with the Moutnain Guides. The youngest will compete in the Kid's Rock, while children, mothers and fathers will compete in vertical relay races. And the best European Youth Squads will compete in the Under 14 Cup. This is what the Rock Junior is all about - having fun climbing together.

Rock Junior is open to all: to register login to www.rockjunior.info or go direct to the Climbing Stadium in Arco on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2007.
