Andreas Fransson and the Denali South Face ski descent
In spring 2011 Swedish extreme skier Andreas Fransson carried out the first ski descent of the immense, inhospitable South Face of Denali. British alpinist Will Sim was there at the time (along with Jonathan Griffith they sped up the Cassin ridge in under 15 hours) and Sim describes the video as follows: " The footage of the south face descent isn't great... This is the real deal. Raw, cutting edge, and you just have to "read between the lines" regarding what you don't see. i.e. you don't mess around with cameras when you're hanging in there for prick of light at the end of the tunnel." Insightful. Gripping.
