The first time we heard of spray ice was back in 2010 when Canada's Will Gadd and England's Tim Emmett stumbled across a photo on the internet and then travelled to the Helmcken Falls in the Wells Grey Park in British Columbia, Canada. The result? "... the coolest ice I've ever seen or climbed, anywhere in the world" and a myriad of routes including the awesome Spray On... Top! (230m, W10, M9+). While waiting for the great cold to come, here's a video of Gadd & co last year at the winter venue which defies the imagination.
