The fourth day of the Rock Master Festival is about to begin. A rather particular day. Because the Arco Climbing Stadium is about to host the International Paraclimbing Cup and those who’ve already watched competitions of this sort know that this is a sporting event which simply cannot be missed. That these are moments which leave their mark. 21 super athletes from 5 different nations will battle it out today on the Rock Master wall, achieving the impossible which, in this case, is certainly far more than a simple expression.

Among those taking part it’s worth underlining the return of an athlete who is an integral part of Rock Master history thanks to his Arco Speed record, namely 1993 Speed World Champion Vladimir Netsvetaev from Russia who after a serious accident is now taking part in the Paraclimbing Cup. The competitions begins at 10.00 with two qualification routes, and the the continues with the final at 14:00. It promises to be, most certainly, a true sporting spectacle!

Day 4 continues at 21:00 with the important meeting at the Climbing Village with Paul Pritchard, the great British climber and writer who after an extremely serious accident found the strength not only to climb once again but also to recount his story in the Totem Pole, a book which won the prestigious Boardman Tasker Prize for Mountain Literature and the Banff Mountain Book Festival Grand Prize.
