"La Reina Mora: Combat fantastique!!!" There's no need to translate what French climber Alizée Dufraisse said about yesterday's battle at Siurana which resulted in her victorious on La Reina Mora, a super route which runs close to the famous La Rambla.

Freed by Ramon Julian Puiblanque and initially graded 8c/+, the line was repeated by Nicolas Favresse in 2010 and, in December 2011 also by Dani Andrada who suggested the route might even be 9a. "Avis aux prochains répétiteurs…" it's up for other repeaters to decide is what Dufraisse rightly states The fact of the matter is that after Patinoso 8c+ a month ago, Dufraisse is on startling form! And that with this 8c+ which may well be 9a, already has a foot in the door of the exclusive club (3?) of women capable of... sending 9a.
